Hello everyone, and welcome to my new storefront — Totally3D.ca!

This isn't a replacement for my Etsy shop but rather an expansion of it. Building this little hobby printshop has been quite a journey so far... with a few hiccups and tons of new stuff to learn and figure out, but I'll elaborate on that in a future post.

A few months ago, I realized that I needed a space with more freedom, better features, lower fees, and room to grow... so I decided to build my own shop. And here we are! Whether you came over from Etsy or just stumbled in from Google, I’m really glad that you’re here!

So to celebrate this launch, I'm excited to announce a special giveaway: I'll be painting and giving away this awesome Power Armour model by Vermilion Miniatures! Since I first opened my Etsy shop with Fallout-inspired miniatures, it seemed right to honor that beginning with a nod to it's post-apocalyptic roots. I love painting miniatures and there will be more to follow at special milestones.

That said, I realize the wasteland vibe isn’t for everyone; so I’m planning to offer an alternative prize as well, like a gift card which may be more universally appealing. As for the paint job? Well I’m no Golden Demon winner, but I’ll be giving it my best — with a few Dirty Wastelander stains for extra character!

The first 50 orders placed on Totally3D.ca will be automatically entered into the giveaway! Once I've finished painting (already started, photos coming shortly), I'll randomly select one lucky winner from those first 50 customers to receive the finished model and will ship at my expense.

I'm planning a few customizations to make this model truly one of a kind. Right now, I'm thinking about adding a laser rifle from Nuke World in the right hand and a Shishkebab in the left. For the head, I'm looking at options from Nuke World or Red Pilgrim — the Desert Hawk range has some fantastic unhelmeted Brotherhood of Steel–style heads that would fit perfectly. I'm also planning to add some smoke effects to the jump pack to really bring the whole build to life.

For the paint scheme I'll be looking to Modiphius for inspiration. I'm not super artistically creative and I'd like the model to feel right at home in anyone's collection. This paint scheme seems simple enough and I should be able to replicate it fairly well.

As mentioned above, the first 50 orders will be automatically entered into the giveaway. Alternatively, if you don't want the model for whatever reason, you could choose a 50$USD gift card instead. I'll contact the winner once it's clear to me who that is and publish their pseudonym here.
